Is Embla Arginine Safe?

We are not aware of any unsafe components in Embla Arginine. Milk is safe for most people as are peanuts but for some people, it’ll make them ill. L-Arginine can have negative effects on some people too, no matter how safe a manufacturer claims their product to be. As mentioned several times already, if you have any concerns, research the product and consult with your medical professional. Embla Global, LLC, declares all component parts contained in Embla Arginine.

Embla Arginine does not contain excessive amounts of any component. Individual ingredients have been selected for their contributions to health and wellness. Curcumin, for example, is often used in Asian cooking and its many health benefits are becoming well documented. If you use Embla Arginine and experience any adverse effects, stop using the product immediately and contact us. Our policy is to provide you with the very best products available and we want to know how Embla Arginine is working for you. Is Embla Arginine the best Arginine supplement available?

We’re not getting into those sorts of arguments. Seriously, who can really claim that anyone’s product is the best? Is Microsoft Office® the best or what about Word Perfect®? Does one judge based on the most sales? Really, “best” should be left to the individual and his or her results from using the product. There are some really great products available for you to use. We claim to be the First Complete L-Arginine product available and maybe it is the best but then again, maybe not. Beware of the word “best”. Frankly, I’d run a mile from anyone that tries to make a claim for any product to be “best”.

What is the optimum amount of L-Arginine for me to consume in a day?

The average American diet includes approximately 4 grams of L-Arginine per day. This amount appears to be insufficient, based on the fact that cardiovascular disease is rampant in America and even showing up in young children.

Numerous studies show that much more Arginine - up to 20 grams or more of daily Arginine consumption improves health for the majority of adults. This is a generalization and should not be assumed to be correct for every individual.

In determining how much Arginine would be wise for an individual to consume, an advisable course is to consult with your own health care professional since he or she knows you individually. We recommend that you continue to learn about L-Arginine and then discuss your healthcare options with your physician or other health care professional.

Which foods can I eat to increase my levels of L-Arginine?

Many foods contain L-Arginine but it will be very difficult for you to consume the optimum amount during any one day without the addition of Embla Arginine in your daily regimen. Leading sources of L-Arginine include Pine Nuts, Peanut Butter, Bran Flakes, Garlic, Chicken liver and chicken gizzards (yuck!), Brussels sprouts, and Orange juice. View a list of food containing L-Arginine.

Note: L-Arginine supplements are beneficial as you age because it becomes more difficult as you get older to consume enough food containing L-Arginine so, a good supplementation regimen should be seriously considered in order to receive the many health benefits of L-Arginine.

Why do some people seem to lose weight using L-Arginine, and some people don’t?

It has to do with a hormone called Leptin that seems to play a key role in metabolism. L-Arginine helps the body to change its metabolic mode from sugar burning to fat burning.

How young is too young to be taking Embla Arginine?

We recommend that children not use Embla Arginine until they reach 23 years of age (unless under the close supervision of a health professional).

The main reason for this recommendation is to avoid increasing the Human Growth Hormone levels to an abnormally high amount. When human growth hormone levels are too high, excessive growth and also pain ("growing pain") may result.

Another reason for this recommendation is that there have not been sufficient studies showing that L-Arginine supplementation is safe for children. Varying watchdog websites list L-Arginine as possibly safe and possibly unsafe for children.

So, for those young people that are wanting to build muscle, endurance etc., get into the habit now of eating well and being patent. Ahhh – the P word for young people these days.

How old is too old to be taking Embla Arginine?

Errr – when you're not able to fog a mirror. Yes – stop using it at that point! Seriously, Embla Arginine has anti-aging properties built into the formulation so it's ideal for anyone that wants to slow down the aging process and even, in some ways, reverse it. Of course, you should participate in a good exercise program, eat well, and get some sunshine - amongst other things - and Embla Arginine might even help with "That" - if you know what we mean!! Embla Arginine can assist you in maintaining and even improving your cardiovascular health and because L-Arginine can also help to repair wounds, the product is very beneficial for older people. As always, if you have any reservations or concerns, consult your health care professional.

I have to go to the bathroom during the night. How will that affect my sleeping pattern?

The deeper and more nourishing sleep from taking Embla Arginine will probably offset the negative effect of having to get up during the night to visit the bathroom. We feel that the benefits of a deeper, more nourishing sleep will show themselves to be better than not taking Embla Arginine and not waking up to go to the bathroom. We suggest that you try it for one or more nights to see how much water you can mix to create the right taste for your palette and then monitor how you feel in the morning even if you had to go to the bathroom one or more times.

I don’t like the taste. It’s too strong when adding 2 scoops to x ounces of water

Taste is different to each individual person of course so we suggest that you experiment with the amount of water you add to Embla Arginine. Also, try it hot. The taste changes quite a lot in this form. Remember though to check the temperature. Don’t heat it to more than 131 degrees Fahrenheit (55 degrees Celsius). We suggest that you check the water temperature before adding it to the powder. If the water temperature is greater than 131 Fahrenheit, it will probably damage many or even all of the components in Embla Arginine. Check out our Mixing Tips video for more information.

I prefer to drink Embla Arginine hot. Will that have an effect on the efficacy of the drink?

As long as the water is below 131 degrees Fahrenheit (55 degrees Celsius), the ingredients will not be harmed and you should receive the full benefits of Embla Arginine. Make sure that you drink it on an empty stomach though. Watch our Mixing Tips video to learn more about the different ways you can drink Embla Arginine.

What is Nitric Oxide (NO)?

In mammals, NO is an important cellular messenger molecule involved in many physiological and pathological processes. Read more about NO.

I’ve heard that Nitric Oxide is an active ingredient in nitroglycerine?

Yes, you’re right but not the explosive type! Nitroglycerine has been used for many years as  a treatment for angina. It works because Nitric Oxide is a vaso dilator and in large doses, it is able to quickly enhance blood flow during a cardiac emergency. The levels used in these situations are hundreds of times greater than what you would receive in a Nitric Oxide-enhancing supplement like Embla Arginine.

Which antioxidants are included in Embla Arginine?

We have included Banaba, Curcumin and N-Acetyl Cysteine in our formulation. Every component in Embla Arginine is included for the purpose it serves in providing you with a total system solution. Everything we have included is synergistic in nature and serves an important purpose in making Embla Arginine the First Complete L-Arginine available. The antioxidants serve a synergistic purpose by helping to repair damaged cell membranes and attacking free radicals, amongst other things.

Why does the drink need to sit for two minutes before consuming?

Some of the active ingredients take a little longer than others to activate. We suggest that you add a couple of ice cubes and stir until they are dissolved. This will assist in enhancing the flavor and also give some of the components time to wake up and be ready for action.

Where can I get more information about L-Arginine?

You can view other pages on our website and also search the world-wide-web. The interesting thing about the web of course is that you will find contradictory information about anything and everything. The web is wonderful for educating us but it can still be confusing and devoid of actual truth. Be careful what you read and do your own research. Feel comfortable with what you buy and use.
